Profile

Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Physics of the Faculty of Medicine (2008-2010 ) . In this period I taught medical physics to the students of human medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, applied medical sciences in all its branches in addition to nursing students

Starting from 2009 till the mean time I have been teaching X-Rays, nuclear medicine physics and equipments to both the females and males students of Diagnostic Radiology Department (Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences) nevertheless I taught medical ethics & patient care and radiology adminstration.


In 2010, I moved from the Faculty of Medicine to the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences as Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology.

Research Interests

 

1 – Electrical, optical and  medical applications of Nitride group, in particular Gallium nitride (GaN),
2 - Physics of radiation ,
3- Physics of semiconductor , 
4- Integrated Circuits for metal detection,
5- Radiation protection.

Scientific interests

My scientific interests are focused on both the development of the diagnostic radiology department and my own.

1- Interests of the department include:
Effective participation in the establishment and activation of the following programs:

·          Bridging Program for health institutions graduates.

·         Seeking to obtain the international academic accreditation of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology.

 

2- Interests of my own:

·         To join the group to operate effectively in the field of Semiconductor Materials especially in Nitride Group.

·          Participation and attending local and global conferences, seminars.
